Cat scratching more

My cat has always scratched a bit, never enough to draw blood, but more as a warning if he’s had enough strokes etc! But over the last few days he’s doing it every time I stroke him, and also jumping at my feet when I walk. He has always spent a lot of time outdoors and when in the house finds a quiet room to sleep, but he’d usually find me a couple of times a day and sit with me, but he’s not doing that at all. Just wondered if anyone had had similar?

Should also say he’s eating/drinking as normal

Is he bored? Mine are going out less as the weather changes and are more boisterous in the house
Maybe get a plug in Feliway? Keeps my cats much more civilised to live with.

Yes maybe it’s the change to colder weather. I’ll try a feliway, thanks

One of mine, a recent addition, bites my feet. If you're worried, a vet check up is never a bad thing. He might be sore somewhere.

Thanks, yes I wondered if I should take him - I’ll see how he gets on today and if no change think I’ll book him in.
