We currently have 2 cats both from the cats protection a 7 year old boy and 4 year old girl I would love a kitten to add to my family the 2 cats we currently have get on perfect but wouldn't cosy up to each other but do play together. Does adding a third work? I would love a kitten we can afford one vets bills food etc its more a will adding another be a issue from experience question. Thanks for yoir help

You just never know.. so much depends on the personalities. I’m in the same position but have decided against it as don’t want to upset the apple cart.

We got a number 3. The other 2 hissed at him for about a week. They all curl up together now.

I have 3.5 year old sisters and am really broody for a third...would love a little ginger boy.

My friend is a senior vet nurse who has studied cat psychology and reckons there's a fairly high likelihood of it upsetting the apple cart.

I ca t afford it anyway at the moment but there's a good chance I'll ignore that advice at some point Grin!

Did you you get your cats at the same time or separately? If the latter I'd guess it would be easier to add a new addition.
