My 18 year old cat never had a litter tray, however in the summer she started pooping inside - which is probably again related. Two litter trays seemed to solve the problem - even if she does miss sometimes 🙈.
However what I'm finding is lots of litter bring trodden over the house. It's rather frustrating that immediately after my children have left home I'm now clearing up after the cat ! Never have my stairs been hoovered so much.
Is there any types of litter which gets around this problem ? Or so those 'tracking mats' that you can place in front of the tray actually work ?
