Having my beautiful boy PTS tomorrow

I'm devastated. I adopted him a year ago and the sweetest, most affectionate little character. He's FIV positive and a few weeks ago he started running a fever. Antibiotics aren't making a dent and he's stopped eating.

He's terribly weak and hot. But he still meows when I talk to him and purrs when stroke him.

for you OP. I'm so sorry. I'm certain you've given him the happiest year and he'll pass away from his pain feeling loved, safe and at peace xx

sorry to hear this. He will have his last year in a safe and loving place and that’s a beautiful thing to have given him. I hope that you get lots of snuggles together tonight.

Am so sorry. You’ve done a great thing taking in an FIV cat, ensuring that he’s had his final year in a comfortable and loving home. It makes it horribly hard for you, but absolutely priceless for him.

Oh bless that boy, I’m so sorry. I’ve been there and it’s heartbreaking. I’m sure he’s had a wonderful home with you.

Oh I'm sorry. Cuddle him and thank him for being your cat as he heads off, keep him loved to the end.

So sorry. It's the worst decision to make. But as a pp said. Cuddle him and tell him how much you love him.

What else can you do though?.

Is someone going to drive you home?
