Lovely Dcat went to vets yesterday as she had not been eating well for a while.

Cat has lost weight since she was there a year ago.
Vet ruled out heart, or obvious tumour. She hasn't been drinking a lot so not diabetes or kidneys.
We had bloods taken, but vets opinion is maybe IBS as she said her guts feel enlarged and gassy.
We are waiting for blood results but anyone had any experience of IBS in cats, and how to encourage them to eat?
Dcat is a rescue. We have had her 8 years and she was a mature adult when we got her. We say she is 12 but she could be older.
