My cat likes to be physically attached to me even when it's 30 degrees outside, but I have noticed she has started asking for more food - perhaps to ensure she has sufficient reserves for the cold weather?

Tbh this is entirely unnecessary as a) she is already well padded and b) I have central heating, but evolution is hard to override.

I woke up the other day, with one on either side of my head. My head is clearly full of hot air!

I got woken up by a wet cat explaining how annoyed he was that it was raining in his garden.

Oh yes! Our cat sleeps on our bed until spring, then deserts us for the cooler climes of the landing. I woke up a couple of days ago to find him back on my feet at the end of the bed (more like woke up in a panic wondering why I couldn’t move my legs and why they were so hot!), snoring away, and realised it must officially be autumn.

He’s especially happy if I bring a hot water bottle to bed, and I can only use it until he notices it’s there. From that point on it is his and I am not permitted to touch it with even a toe, or I shall receive The Claw of Warning.

Mine has refused to go out all day, so has just slept on my bed for hours,, only coming down to bring me the post when she heard it come through the door. She is going to be a total arse all night and keep me awake. It's like having a human toddler all over again.

He got under my blanket then thought about coming back out and ended up looking like a psychopath 🤣

I've been delaying changing back to my winter duvet as I was predicting Cheddars regular 24 hour puke- a - thon. It's not happen yet, so changed it this morning.....

My little miss is currently refusing to go outside, choosing instead to sleep on whichever windowsill currently has the most sunshine coming through it.

She was out in the rain yesterday and was not happy about it
