Cattery/COVID etc

I have bitten the bullet and booked a holiday abroad at half term.
I have booked our usual Cattery but have been told I can't pick the cats up myself on my return but have to send a proxy if I have been abroad.
Are all catteries applying the same policy?
Seems random when I'm a healthcare worker and intend to go into work the very same day!
The way this is going they will miss out on business and I would have thought they would be desperate for it.

Mine are doing collection at the gate. At least it means I'm
Spared having to prize them out of their castle. They are never keen to be taken home!

My cattery is drop off and collection in the reception area and by time slots - it works quite well but I prefer the pre Covid way of going through to the pen at drop off and collection.
