Cat going in my fridge

I have a bengal cat hes about 3 and past few days hes been going in my fridge.i had a fridge lock on it had the gorilla sticker pads on that locked with a key just put my camera on and looked and he'd got into it again.so now put second lock on.hes still trying to get in it.what else can I do as sick of throwing food away etc

I’ve seen fridges online padlocked with a lock that actually screws into the metal. You’d need to research how long the screws can be and you’ll probably invalidate any warranty you’ve got.

Had a moggie once who opened the fridge door by leaping, sticking her claws into the rubber seal at the top of the door and leaning back... when I used strong sticky tape at the top she was stymied

He knocked a tub of cream cheese got the lid off and the foil inside and ate it with another cat bluebell the sphinx.

Thing is he can open the doors too.found out at 3am in a morning jumping at my door. Made me jump out of my skin.

They hate citrus smells - can you clean the fridge door with citrus cleaner?

Ours was a door opener. We locked the door. He would jump up and twang the door so we rotated the handle so you pulled it to the right to open the door and one night we forgot to lock it. He sat on the console table and opened the door.

I'm impressed that he managed to move the chair across the room to get to the fridge.

I'd also either put the door handles on upside down or replace with knobs with locks.

Got some new locks coming so will see how we go with them

In our home also , cat behaving like this, but we are not bother about our pet. We are safe our products and fridge in good way. Now our cat is not reach to the fridge side. So sweet cat...Meow...Meow.

Still trying to get in but cant now hard luck rocco.
