GPS trackers?

I’ve a 6mth old rescue cat, first time owner.

Little boy has been indoors so far, but I intend to let him outside too. He’s had his vaccinations and has been spayed.

I was told by someone at the shelter that because he was possibly born feral, he is more likely to stray.

I’d like to put a GPS tracker collar on him when I let him out, but everything I’ve seen so far online looks quite big and clunky.

Can anyone recommend a tracker for a cat, or advice on how to keep them from completely disappearing when let outside??

He is really beautiful! Very much like our 16 week girl!

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I have been wondering this too 😅

I don’t know what it’s called but my boss has one for his Bengal after me putting the fear of god into him about Bengals getting up to all sorts. It’s a small one and very basic so you can get them. It’s not the type you have to subscribe to but he can get it up on his phone. Said Bengal only goes three doors down to call for his Bengal mate and then they go and jump on afew neighbours sheds and climb their trees so they don’t go very far at all. As he keeps telling me. His sister just stays in the garden.

A friend uses an Apple tile, but I am not sure how accurate the tracking is to pinpoint exact location.
