Thanks and I made a call. It was to the man whose cat I feed and I was shocked to hear him say he had no time to feed his cat, meaing he never feeds it and thinks that that is OK. Said he knows I feed mine as he delivers a lot of cat food here frpm the shop. ie feedng a cat is not necessary... Irish rural attitudes

Jacob cat has been in to eat then off out again, and very early so was Bella the wild one. Nt a sign of Boycat and I have not seen sweet Selkie for days. Horrible situation and ...horrible

Want2beme · 20/09/2021 15:07

SoloISland I do hope they come home to you very soonFlowers

Want2beme · 20/09/2021 15:12

Hi, new to this thread but loving it. Kitty Morag (6 months old) is taking a break from her wild teenage life to be fanned in front of Paw Patrol.

Want2beme · 21/09/2021 10:09

LaTomatina welcome! What a sweet photoSmile

Want2beme · 21/09/2021 12:10

She's a little bit stressed. I was checking her paws this morning and found an in grown toe nail. I was really shocked. I check her paws regularly, as she gets corns that I have to remove at least once a month. I didn't notice the nail growing like that. I feel terrible. So, we'll be off to the vet today. Just waiting for a call back, as they're all in surgery at the moment. She might need a mild sedation. Poor old puss😿

Back from vet. No sedation. He was as fast as lightening removing the nail & he trimmed all of her other nails. He said he'd never had to trim a cats nails beforeConfused. I normally trim them. Anyway, she's having a little snack now and'll probably head off to bed for a post vet snooze. She's such a little sweeheart.

Crikey I've never heard of an ingrown nail on a cat must admit I dont check

Well Trina had to be bought out of the tree again, I really thought it would be Trev being a pain. She has used the toilet a few times...Trev isn't bothered at all by it

Though Ive just walked into the kitchen to see Trev on the counter licking the butter knife

Oldraver · 22/09/2021 08:17

Need to perfect my coming down the tree skills

Oldraver · 22/09/2021 09:36

I live the baby gro, is it a specific cat one ?

Oldraver · 22/09/2021 10:12

I don't think I've mentioned Trev and the Penguin wrappers have I ?

DS's favourite biscuits are Penguins (or Seal/Toucan bars, depending on where we shop, he's not fussy). He died have a habit of leaving the wrappers wherever on the floor on his desk/ bedside and annoyingly in the wash, so there is a forever... pick up the bloody Penguin wrapper lament going on in our house

Trev has decided Penguin wrappers are on his fave list and will carry them around the house, and will leave them anywhere

Obviously DS loves this as Trev now gets the blame

Evidence of three wrappers on my floor which I only noticed when I opened the curtains

Love the idea of Trev carrying penguins round the house Grin.

Karl had a similar obsession with shredded wheat wrappers when he was a kitten - we'd find them in every room in the house. I'm a bit disappointed he grew out of the habit.

Trying to eat the new fake Christmas tree that's just arrived, the menace!

When I was growing up we had a mad Siamese who carried potholders and oven gloves around the house.

PhiRhoSigma · 22/09/2021 13:13

@Oldraver
Yes, it is an alternative to the 'cone of shame' to stop her licking her stitches. Also she lives with her great great grandmother who would also try and clean her up! It's a medical pet suit, she came back from vets in it.

PhiRhoSigma · 22/09/2021 13:25

@AlfonsoTheMango
Ours does this. Also plays 'fetch' just like a dog. Growls like a dog too. Got to love siamese.

AlfonsoTheMango · 22/09/2021 13:44

I had a cat who played fetch. He didn't bark or growl, though.

Oldraver · 23/09/2021 08:22

Well if my sister can do it

I just whinged more

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 24/09/2021 10:36

Just to say Oldraver I'm thoroughly enjoying the updates/pictues/vids about the gorgeous Trina and Trev.

Ever thought about giving them their own thread? (Facebook channel, Twitter account, TV show...)

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 24/09/2021 15:09

Love it when cats forget their tongues Grin
