Oil instead of Katalax?

Dcat is a puker and keeps bringing up hairballs (plus entire stomach contents 🤢). Always on the carpet, obvs. I got some Katalax from the vet, which did help for a bit, but he now won't eat his food when it's mixed in. I've tried the squirt-on-paw thing but tbh it's a nightmare trying to catch him every week.

So I'm wondering...is there something else I can mix into his food to, ahem, help things along, which he's more likely not to notice mixed in with his food? Sunflower oil? Fish oil? Are they ok for cats?

I've seen both sunflower oil and fish oil listed as ingredients in commercial cat food. So pretty safe I would've thought.

Good luck getting it into your cat though Grin
