Virtual vets consultation

Really struggling to get a vets appointment for my cat, he has a vet but there aren't words to describe how bad they are. There's only one vet left at the practice who will retire soon, people have been leaving the practice in droves.

There are no local vets who have a space and I could do with a virtual consultation to talk about what's wrong and what our next steps should be.

The animal trust does but they have no availability. Any other thoughts would be appreciated!

He's 15 years old, back legs wobbly, has head tremors occassionally (not from itch!)

And he also is very itchy - has been oulling fluff out from his back and scratching causing scabs round his face. He most recently had another steroid injection which has helped the itch. He's repeatedly treated for ear mites and fleas.

Do you have a Pets At Home anywhere near you ? most of them have a vets practice in them .
While you can make sure you get all your cats medical records from your current vet , I know someone that has really struggled to get them for her dog once her vets closed down ( due to retirement ).

I cant really advise on the itching problem other than cooled boiled water with a pinch of salt in just to keep it clean and germ free but dont remove any scabs

Long shot but if you happen to be a member of Dogs Trust you can ring their 'Vetfone' line.
