My sister has a gorgeous 2 year old sphynx. Unfortunately due to lots of reasons she can no longer keep her and has asked if I would take her in. Does anyone have any experience with this breed? I’ve done some reading online and am a little daunted by the bathing and nail clipping requirements….. Any advice gratefully received.

Yes, i have one and to be honest I don’t feel he is any more time consuming than any other breeds. I wash him very infrequently as it in my experience increases the oils in the skin. Like washing your hair too often makes it more greasy,my boy gets washed every two/three months. I do clean his ears, which is a two second job, as is nail clipping. The only other thing i would say is you need to make sure they are kept warm so i buy little fleeces for mine in the winter to keep him nice and toasty.
