Cat collar

So back in the day, when I had a cat she had her name on her collar plus 6 digits of my phone number (minus the local code). I now have two cars, what is the done thing? They're microchipped and my mobile number is 11 digits long.
Do I squeeze my number on? Just rely on the chip?

My cats don't wear collars as I almost lost one when she got her paw caught in a quick release collar, that didn't release.
They are all chipped though.

I don't put collars on my cats.

My cat doesn't wear a collar as she gets terrible skin irritation from them now but when she did her name and our phone number (all 11 digits) fitted on the tag easily?

Name, your mobile and whether they are microchipped and neutered - the last in the hope that they are not kidnapped for breeding.
Most people who find animals take them to their local vet or animal sanctuary, where they can be scanned, but a number is easy.
