Does anyone else have very sicky cats?

My two long haired seven year old girls (indoors) seem to be unusually sicky (I.e. not just hairballs, actual sick). We get between 2 and 4 throw ups a month. They've always been like this - nothing wrong with them (we've checked) & happens irrespective of what food they're on. Anyone else?!

@RandomMess I have 2 theories why Boycat does it, both related to his past. They were part of a feral colony for the first year of their lives, so either he's bolting his food down because of the hungry times, or he's getting shot of the kibble because he realises he hasn't got any room left for wet food at supper time!

😂

He's just a bolter.

Great success from many cat owners by switching to the raised tilted ceramic bowls. Worth a try?

I'm curious about raised bowls - have just ordered microchip feeders as they're going to be on different foods for a while, but would raised bowls help if it's a recent issue? (Ie last few months vs 7.5 years with me?

Our boy seemed to get a more sensitive tummy as he got older and got reoccurring cyclical vomiting. So we were prepared to try anything tbh!

They work for those that are regurgitating because they eat too quickly or are taking in too much air. It's to do with the angle and height.

Microchip feeders worked well in this house until new cat quickly learnt her could just pul the lid forwards and off, utter hooligan he is Shock

Yep, got 3 cats, one rarely pukes, one only if bolting her food and the other frequently when a hairball is brewing.
One thing I've found to help the carpet clean up is a handheld carpet cleaner mine cost £99 but so worth it.

@RandomMess thank you - and lol at hooligan cat! I'm hoping mine don't figure that out...
