Felix food

Has anyone else had problems with their cat suddenly not eating Felix? Ours has started to just lick the jelly and refuses to eat the meat. She’s also had loose stools . I thought she was just being awkward but a quick google shows that it seems to be widespread and has started when the recipe changed.
Some owners are reporting that their cats have become really ill and some have sadly passed away.
There are no scientific links with illness and Felix but there are thousands on a fb page all reporting the same .

We had to buy Felix when Tesco discontinued their kitten food. Now they will only eat Felix. No problems on the health front.

Our 14 wk old won’t touch felix or any wet food, keep trying him but He only likes dry which I found weird because he’s up
For trying other tiny bits of human food chicken & fish cheese yogurt etc Grin
Now I’ve read this I’m thinking maybe it’s a felix thing then not a wet food thing?

I've heard the recipe had changed which could give cats loose stools just as if you'd changed from one brand to another.

But, are you sure you're not confusing the change of Felix recipe with the pancytopenia out break linked to a dry food factory a month or so back?

I've not heard of cats dying from the change in felix recipe apart from hysterical and unfounded online posts.

Please try not to worry

One of my cats one started suffering from constant vomiting and diahorrea, it seems that the new Felix has caused it as she improved vastly when taken off it. It's a shame as they enjoyed it for years.

One of my cats can't stomach felix at all. He vomits and has loose stools. Yet my other two are fine with it. I've no idea why, it clearly just doesn't sit right in that cats stomach

No, they are two separate things.

I think it is the change in recipe that seems to be the problem.

Yes and there are a few threads on here about problems including the ones below. Purina asked for pouches from my boxes a couple of weeks ago but no update from them yet.
