Which cat litter do you use?

I’m currently using a silica gel crystal cat litter which is great at keeping the litter tray odours to a minimum. However I worry that the dust from it is not great for the cats or me to breathe in. It’s also fairly pricey at £10 for a 7 litre bag which lasts a week. I’ve got 2 indoor cats so the tray gets a lot of use. Any recommendations?

Worlds Best, I swear by it for three mainly indoor cats.

@ISpyCobraKai - thanks. Do you use the one for multiple cats or just the normal one?

Just the normal one, I have four trays.

I always use Catsan. Not the cheapest, but it really does stop the smells more than other litter in my experience.

Cat’s Best clumping litter. Big bag lasts a few months.

Cat's Best clumping litter. A 40L bag lasts my three about 10-12 weeks.

Thanks all.

Another vote for Cats Best, I also get the big bag which lasts several months. It's also easy to remove the bits and bobs my beloved leaves in there.

Wood-pellet litter here, specifically Fresh Paws Premium Wood Pellet Cat Litter - I get the 30L bag using Amazon’s subscribe & save.

As long as you change the litter often enough it doesn’t smell; & as well as being cost-effective it’s biodegradable.

If you Don’t Do Amazon, various iterations on the theme are available in supermarkets & petshops.
