Boy cat is sick and at emergency vets

Got home from routine vet trip and he starts vomiting. Vomits over 10 times and then panting. Rush him to emergency vet hospital, by now he's vomited more and had the runs. Vet just called to say he's on oxygen but they are worried about his breathing and doing bloods. He's a house cat so can't have ingested anything. His sister is perfectly fine. I'm so worried. Sitting outside waiting for news (and praying insurance will cover this, it's over £500 already) please send positive thoughts ....

Vet said he's quite a character and is sitting is his kennel surveying all the goings on this morning which is just typical him.

I just miss him so much and want him home with his sister

Did they say exactly what it was OP?

No they think it's a reaction to his booster vaccine but they can't be sure. I've to contact my actual vet in a few days as they will get the results of all the bloods they took.

I'm just so glad he's home!

And filthy too which shows how ill he was, he hates to be dirty! I'll need to bath him later which won't be fun but for now he's had some treats and is sleeping under the table

I hope that it is all over for him OP and that they can make sure it does not happen when he has his shots again.

Last night I slept on the living room floor to keep an eye on him. He woke up at 3am, took one look at me lying on the floor and promptly took himself off to my bedroom to sleep there
