My beautiful cat last night all of a sudden lost use of his back legs. Took him to the emergency vet where they told me he had a clot which is why he couldn’t use his legs and his heart murmur turned to heart failure.
During the night he was given methadone for pain, diuretics for his lungs and blood thinners for his clot. Luckily I heard nothing through the night so I’m hoping he responded well.
I am absolutely devastated. I’ve never dealt with a poorly pet before or god forbid a loss. I am so broken. He is only 4 😔
