We have 4 cats, none of them are new to us, but recently there's been a bit of tension between them, we're not sure why.. anyway, the last weeks or so out whole upstairs - the only part of the house with carpets, has stunk of cat wee, I think they are peeing and spraying everywhere, I don't know exactly where to clean but every room including the stairs stinks.
I have sprayed with a neutraliser spray, but the ammonia smell still comes through, I've had to come downstairs at 2am as I woke and the smell is too much.
We're arranging for my sons room to have the carpet replaced with amtico, but we won't be able to afford our room for a little while.
We have litter trays, which they sometimes use, this seems to be connected to the recent tension though. All are neutered, does anyone have any advice?
