GPS tracker for cats?

So I’m thinking of buying a GPS tracker for my indoor-only cat so we can transition her to indoor/outdoor (as we think she’d be happier).

Any experiences using those? Basically just paranoid she’d get lost or something would happen to her and I’d like to have peace of mind if we do decide to ‘let her free’ ....

Not on our cats, but we have 3 Tractive.com trackers for our dogs. They are brilliant! We can not only see exactly where the dog(s) are but where they've been in any given time period. Peace of mind? Priceless!

I have an apple air tag attached to my dogs collar, I believe it uses other apple devices to update location just in case he goes for a walk without me.

I have Tracktive trackers on my 2 cats. A lot depends on how likely they are to lose their collar! One of mine is very good, the other one regularly loses it (although have got it back on all but one occasion). They're pretty accurate unless cat is hiding indoors and which case you get some very odd readings on the app.

I used to check all the time where they were and it's great for that peace of mind. Don't tend to check up on them now as realised that neither of them go very far, but still like to have the trackers on just in case.
