I've posted a few threads already about my little girl.

We've had her 3/4 days now and I can't lie, im struggling with the meowing. She has food, treats, knows how to use her litter tray, lots of toys, but she seems to be walking around meowing/crying quite a lot. She doesn't want cuddles so there's nothing I can really do to stop it? Any advice?

Play with her? Feather on string toys always go down well. She's missing her mum and siblings, I expect, she will be used to having a playmate all the time.

They do cry for their family but it stops eventually.

Mine called for his mum and I felt so guilty. He was 17w so she was hitting him to drive him away but he still called for her and his sister.

Could you try a fluffy bed with a heat pack for comfort?

Aw bless her, remember, your home is completely new and strange to her. Imagine being taken away from your family and put somewhere new with new things, new smells, probably different food - with your family gone. She won't know the place, she won't know you, she won't know the toys are hers! She just needs love and attention, and gradually she will settle. You're only a couple of days into it, this is normal.

Do you talk to her when she meows to reassure her?

Try catching her attention with toys and keep her busy.

Also, keep her in one room/area so her new home isn't too overwhelming.

Are you putting plenty of food down? I'm sure you are of course providing food but I know they do eat a huge amount at that age and will meow if not filled up.

I've seen the opposite side when Mummy cat's 4 kittens left home one by one: meowing loudly (by her lights yelling her head off) looking for them. But she got over it quite quickly. She was already in her home environment though, everything is new and strange for your little one. I hope she settles soon, for her and your sake. Gin
