I'm sorry to say that Ashycat has crossed the Bridge. She went on Saturday. She had bad kidneys, possible heart and thyroid trouble too.
But she was sick Friday night - yellow foamy, which I wasn't too perturbed about and there was some dinner coughed up too..... Except it wasn't coughed up - it was poo and there was blood in it.
I had been feelingfor a while that it was time for her to go; she had spent all her time asleep, was eating very little and was very dodgy on her legs. The vet said that all she could do was patch Ashycat up, give her antibiotics to see if it made any difference to the poops. But the poor darling looked so fed up and tired, I decided that it was time.
She went in my arms and I was so happy to have had her. To gain her trust from the scared, empty cat who came to me in 2013. I will miss my Ashycat.
