Stopped using his tray

So carrying on from my last thread, I have had Zeus a month. At first he used his tray to poo but now he has started pooing by the front door. Do you think he wants to go out to do it? He still will not respond to me or my voice but will sit on the window sill and watch out if I am not in the room.

Can you put the litter tray near the front door?

Is the litter tray clean when he does a poo by the front door?

Sometimes cats don't like to use the litter tray again once they've already used it so it might be a good idea to get him more than one tray if you haven't already. :)

He has 2 trays, both clean. Just checked and he’s done it again

My boy hates reusing his litter tray sometimes, he then uses the bath Confused he has got better recently.

I used to have a smaller litter tray that wasn't great for wiping his paws and the litter would go everywhere. I bought a pets at home large litter tray that has a bit of a lid around the top and he deffo uses it more than his old one, he doesn't seem to have an issue with reusing it as much.

Just stay on top of scooping and it shouldn't be a problem. I'm a fussy bitch about toilets and it seems my cat is just as fussy about his tray lol.
