So worried

My lovely cat is 2. I found a hairball yesterday morning, nothing unusual about that but noticed some seeds. She's never been one to eat "human" food so decided to keep an eye on her. She was absolutely fine until last night when I couldn't find her. Eventually found her under my bed and she wouldn't budge. She didn't move all night. I eventually got her downstairs this morning but she's just curled up in her cat tree. She's asking to go outside but I don't want her out of my sight and she's still not eating. I'm taking her to the vet this afternoon but I'm just so worried.

It could be bird food. I caught my greedy cat tucking into a coconut shell filled with suet and seeds once. The birds had knocked it off the tree in my garden. She protested when I took it away but it didn't make her sick.

Oh yeah bird food! I never thought of that! It was probably 12 hours or more between me finding that and her symptoms starting. We have workmen in and out and it's noisy, the stairs are covered in plastic, I wondered if she was feeling a bit stressed. I'm hoping it's nothing serious. She's just snoozing away.
