Water fountain - how much does yours drink?

Gave my little furry overlord the gift of a water fountain on Tuesday and he gave it an unamused look and walked away. Today the water level has gone down about 1/3.

Does this mean he luffs it and is slurping away all night in secret or does the water just tend to evaporate quite quickly anyway?

Interested to hear how much other cats tend to drink from them as I haven’t ever seen mine at it.

Mine drink really well from it. They drink far more than they did from their beakers. I don't think there is a huge amount of evaporation from mine.

Both of mine drink a lot from the fountain. They hardly ever touch their bowl of water. I keep the fountain in a different room to food.

I had two that drank from the fountain well, though Col rejected the big fountain when I swapped out his small one

But it does evaporate as Col didn't use his big one much but the level went down

He ignores the fountain and drinks out of the dog’s bowl instead
