Fleas just won't fuck off

Have a major flea issue at the moment. Been spraying Indorex as they were all in the carpet and going to set off a fumigator, using spot-on on the cat alongside an electric flea comb but we can't get rid of the fuckers!! We gave him a flea bath before we moved house as tha'ts here he first got them (Previous tenant had a dog and the LL didn't fumigate Hmm

Any advice before we go to the vet? Getting desperate and poor boy is very uncomfortable Sad

What are you using on the cat?
Frontline isn't very effective on some areas
I always use a vet strength flea treatment (stronghold plus at the moment)

Defo vets for advocate flea treatment. Indorex is great and so is strikeback. You can buy a strikeback pack with spray and two floggers for 20 pounds.

Bravecto is a good one to use for fleas.

Our little dog has had Bravecto twice after a tick incident.

It works great. He is not bothered by fleas at all.

Expensive but worth it.

If you are using a spot on do not bath the cat within the 48 hours before or after the spot on it makes it less effective.
Bravecto or Credelio from the vet, combined with hoover and spray again in the house on the same day plus wash all the bedding and freeze any soft toys the cat may have.

Bravecto is fantastic when Advocate didn't work for our cat.

MotherOfDemons · 27/07/2021 14:27

I had been using Frontline @dementedpixie as it seemed to be the most popular so assumed it would work!

Braveco seems to be the winner here! I'll make a wise investment, clean all the sheets and hope it gets rid of them all!
