Newborn kitten help please!

My cat had kittens last Saturday. She had 3, but lost 2, and now I'm not sure if she's rejecting the one that is left.
He was losing weight so I was advised to syringe feed him, which is going well so far. Mum moved him from the nest to a shelf in the wardrobe she hid herself away in, no blankets or anything. Then I went down to feed him at midnight, and he was just in the middle of the room whilst she was at the door when I opened it. He must be chilly, so I put him back in the nest, but Mum has been in my room for the last 2 hours. I don't know whether to move him in the nest upstairs and see if she bothers going to him?
I'm also struggling with him going to the toilet. The vet advised how to stimulate him to help him go, and I try before each feed, but nothing is happening. I don't know if Mum has been doing it, or there's an issue.
Can anyone shed any light on this situation I have going on please?

Maybe phone the vet again?

Please reach out to the vet again.

The stimulating to go is after the feed, not before btw.

I hope I’m not giving wrong advice but when I had to stimulate a baby mouse to toilet I used a q-tip dipped in warm water which worked.

Bump for the OP.

@1stTimeMama please phone the vet. And get the poor cat booked in for a spay at the same time.

How are you getting on Op?
