Poo smell

I have a cupboard upstairs which on a couple of occasions my cat has pooed in. Cleaned up straight away. With this warm weather (I think) there is a horrible smell coming from the cupboard. I've emptied it out and there is nothing new there but wondered if anyone had any tips on how to get rid of the pool smell?

It's unusual for the smell of poo to linger once it's been cleaned away. Zoflora is a good smelling cleaning agent, or just soap and hot, (some say cold), water.

There are several pet cleaners available in pets at home. They are excellent.
Also some clean cat litter in a sock (tied!) and put in the wardrobe will absorb smell.
Have you checked that no shoes with dog poo have been put away in the cupboard?! (Do not ask how I thought of that one).

It's very unusual for poo smells to linger in the same way urine smells do.

You could try Simple Solution or another pet enzyme cleaner but I suspect the smell is something else - wee or mouse/rat poo under the floorboards.
