Cat stuck on neighbours roof

Mortified. DH left for work at 5am this morning and heard what he thought was our DCat crying. Followed the noise around the corner and spotted DCat stuck on the roof of a 3 storey house. I had to knock on the door to ask if I could come in and try and coax her back in. The lady was lovely. I've never met her before. She thinks that DCat must have got in via the conservatory roof, through the bathroom window. Then wandered up to the top floor before getting onto the roof out of a window in her daughters bedroom. How was everyone else's day!

Were you able to coax her in or is Dcat still up there?

Plump82 · 22/07/2021 19:46

Oh no!! Is she down yet?

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/07/2021 19:50

Oh lord.

DogsSausages · 22/07/2021 19:53

Is she still up there, did you try and get her in through that top window.

LST · 22/07/2021 19:58

Oh nightmare 🙈

Are they still up there?

Katieweasel · 22/07/2021 20:14

Yes I managed to get her in through the window. This was at 5am this morning! Proves that cats will literally do anything for Dreamies! She didn't even have the decency to look sorry!

Thank goodness she is home, my cat did the similar, she climbed to the top of building works, we had ladders and neighbours out, she cut her paw, trip to the emergency night time vet and straight back up there again. I figured eventually if she can get up then she must be able to get down.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/07/2021 20:58

They live life like they pay their own vet bills don’t they.

DogsSausages · 22/07/2021 21:00

I am sure they are very grateful🤗

DH walked into the kitchen this morning just in time to find next door's cat jumping down onto the kitchen windowsill amongst the herbs. Perfect timing! Grin

Glad to you had a lovely cooperative neighbour and that the naughty feline is back where she belongs, OP.

Motorina · 23/07/2021 06:17

On the plus side, you have met your lovely neighbour.

So glad your cat’s okay.

Mumdiva99 · 23/07/2021 06:21

Wow. Scary. What time did you knock?

Katieweasel · 23/07/2021 06:32

I knocked at 5am. I couldn't leave her up there as she was obviously very scared. I took some flowers around later that day to say thank you and to apologise again. I'm not sure I would have been so lovely if some stranger was knocking on my door that early.
