I had to sort of pick it up in a Tesco bag for life .....and carry it to the bathroom window and wang it out.....it’s rigour Morris tail was sticking out ....but I didn’t have my glasses on ....and looked away as much as possible. Can’t get rid of the smell

Fucking fancy Jesus... was it on carpeting?

Furries · 21/07/2021 02:37

Oh, that’s gross! I am forever grateful that my comedian doesn’t kill things - he would make a great gun dog as he has a very soft mouth. Now, this is great for not decimating things, but not so much fun when he brings things in for me to then catch and release!

I know what you mean about the rat tail though. Discovered a dead rat on the lawn, which was definitely not done over by my boy (I know this due to timings and when he would have been out). The thing was solid, trying to wrestle that thing and it’s tail into a carrier bag is not one of my happiest memories.

I really think you need to keep going with finding food that he likes though!

If you can, put some cat litter in a pair of tights or old socks and leave them where the rat was dead. It’ll help with the smell. (Also flea powder for the inevitable rat fleas).

Can’t think what to feed him ....have seriously tried all sorts over the years ....even have had friends who don’t believe me bring him treats round and he turns his nose up. We live on a farm ....I just think he prefers finding his own food.

Cream, milk or plain crisps is all he likes
