This terrible heat

My cat is pissed off because she is wearing a fur coat in 30 degrees. She is very very cross and gave me a big old bite earlier something she never does. How are your cats coping?

Mine has been snoozing indoors all day. Then he goes out in the garden for a couple of hours around 9pm.

He’s a very fluffy long-haired cat, but he doesn’t seem to be at all bothered.

However, if it’s raining then it is TOTALLY MY FAULT and he doesn’t stop shouting at me 🤣

Mine don't seem too bothered either. Like the pp, rain bothers them more. And woe betide you if you have the audacity to not fix the weather if it's WINDY. That's just unacceptable.

Ha, mine is a weirdo with the wind. Sometimes it could be blowing a hooley and he’s fine. Another day, there could be a gentle waft of breeze on a still day and he jumps as though he’s been electrocuted!

Mine aren't bothered, but they're indoor cats and downstairs is pretty cool anyway.

Mine just move between snoozing spots and come in around 5pm for biscuits. I've kept curtains drawn all day so it's actually quite a lot cooler indoors than it was yesterday!

It’s 31 here now and mine is running around the garden jumping at low branches. I think he expects me to join in.

I had to make one of my a tent to shade him today and they both got watery tuna so i know they were getting liquids. Girl cat seems to be coping better than boy cat. But she is the clever one of the 2 who takes herself to cooler places.

Only dcat3 and dcat4 have worked out I have air conditioning in my bedroom so it's nice and cool at night ❄️

Unfortunately they don't get on with each other so I have a rota in place

Mine just fell off a chair after a thunderclap startled her. That was clearly my fault too.

My three girls are alternating between the cool of the utility and the sauna like living room.

They’re off their food in this heat but enjoying some cool water in the bowls I leave around the house.

By flopping dramatically on the floor with huge sighs of exasperation. Lying briefly twitching her tail then getting up moving three steps and repeating the procedure.

DFluffyCat likes to cool off in the carrier. Will she go anywhere near the carrier when it's actually time for the vet? Will she fuck 😂😂😂

My cat has been outside during this whole heatwave. He loves sleeping in the soil, he's absolutely filthy but he seems cool enough luckily

Mine keep running up to me to complain loudly about the weather and ask why I haven't turned it down yet.
I've explained several times that I don't actually control the weather but it hasn't sunk in.
I tried the tea towel in the freezer trick but they just gave me a WTF look and walked off.

My poor black furred boy finds the coldest spot in the house and stays there. Luckily we only have about a 3-4 hour period in the afternoon where it's awful
