Cat not eating much. Is it the heat?

Dcat (12 Yr old F) is a bit off her food. She didn't eat her breakfast at all yesterday. Overnight most of her dinner was gone.
Not eating this morning.
So she's probably eaten 1 sachet of Felix in last 30 hours.
She is otherwise behaving normally.
Would you worry?

Mine is doing the same, although he has a history of feeding himself.

Not if she's drinking ours hasn't turned up for breakfast yet normally she's yowling by 7 am. Just went to feed neighbors cat they're away opened front door she went straight out with no breakfast

Yes, DS said she drank out of his water glass 🙄yesterday.
It's normally very rare to see her drink anything. I will keep an eye on her.

Mine often eat much less in the heat - even Fatty Gonzalez left half his dinner yesterday

My two are the same. One in particular is food obsessed, this morning when I came into their room to feed them he didn't even bother getting up, then when he did he puked all over the floor after a couple of mouthfuls! The other one didn't even bother getting up. I'm not worried.

Mine is the same. Although she happily ate the Dreamies I gave her. I’m making sure her water is fresh and refilled throughout the day.

Are you only feeding felix? There has been some concerns that the Purina food (felix, gourmet, Lily's kitchen) is making cats quite ill. There is a Facebook group called Cats recently affected by Felix food.

Is there anything solid behind these rumours about Felix? Any particular products, factories, symptoms etc?

My cat eats mostly Purina/Felix wet food and is totally fine so far... it would be helpful to understand whether there is something I need to worry about here or not.

No nothing solid yet, but thousands have had issues. It may not be the food but who knows, Purina currently denying and problems.

There a thread just started regarding potential issues with felix food.

I just started it as I see a few threads where cats are off their food and thought it might help some people.
