Hi all, hoping for some help. My eldest cat was on the Applaws that was recalled and frankly she was very ill and I am loathe to trust the brand again. I know of cats who died due to the food and it makes me so sad.

I'm now looking for senior dry food for her, and regular adult dry food for my other 4 cats. Bonus points if the food can help reduce poo odours as ours are all indoor cats and on some of the food they've been on the house has stunk!

We've tried Applaws, Lily's Kitchen, Purizon (was great for years but then poos got stinky!)

Thanks in advance

Old Lady Cat had Sanabelle Senior for years and was v happy with it.

Can't help with the no smells for the others as we are on Purizon and Animonda wet food, which is dreadful for pongs, and just put up with it as the cats are so happy - and they are outdoor cats and it seems to cut down on the small animal murdering.

My lot have finally settled on Arden Grange grain free. Slightly better priced than Applaws per kilo, and they seem to enjoy it! No major stinks in the poo department.

Our boy is on Royal Canin active dry food. They have a senior one as well. We've tired him on loads and this is his favourite
