Kitten's age

Hi

I am on holiday in Greece and have agreed to foster an abandoned kitten for a few days

Her (so I'm told) eyes are not open but she is waddling around. No teeth that I can see.

I am struggling to get milk in her but she is weeing which I take is a good sign.

Any tips very welcome.

There are some fantastic people out here who are doing their best to help stray animals - and there are, sadly, far too many stray cats and dogs on the island.

She certainly is! I’ve had many cats in my life, but she is a self-possessed, dog-tormenting, leg-climbing little monkey, and fighting fit despite a tough start. Here’s hoping that your little foundling is the same.

UPDATE

Met the cat rescue lady yesterday. Kitten opened her eyes the day after she took her so they assume she is ten days old at that point. She is doing well.

All being well the cat rescue lady will arrange the jabs and the paperwork and we will bring her back to the uk in November.
