New rescue trembling when purring?

Not seen this before. She’s asleep and it’s waking her up a bit but she hasn’t eaten for nearly 7 hours so I’ve just given her the rest of her gourmet pouch,

One of mine does the trembling while purring when he's very happy.

She’s eaten and is in the “happy cat croissant” position on the bed. I videoed it for the vet.

Does he have any control over it?. She seemed irritated a bit but was on my lap at the time.

My kitten used to shake when he was over stimulated or excited.

It only happens when he's super happy and relaxed. It doesn't last long, only a few minutes until he calms down. It doesn't seem to distress him.

Maybe that’s just how awesome my lap is.

Magic does it occasionally, accompanied by a quivery sticking up tail. She looks like she's spraying but isn't. She does it when she's super happy. Or when she sees her 'auntie' at the cattery!
