Moulting/ fur loss

My cat is moulting a huge amount at the moment. Also some of her fur, particularly round her bum, seems to be coming out in clumps.

She's only young, is this something I need to get checked out?

Do you brush her? It can come out in clumps if they are long haired and it doesn't shed as it falls out, instead it sort of all.comes out together at a certain point.
I wouldn't worry unless she has spare patches of hair. Mounting is so common as it gets warmer. I think I could make a whole new cat with the amount mine have shed this month.

I do recommend salmon oil for coat condition and I also think the gloves with the rubber bits on them are better than brushes. I can find a link to what I have if you'd like. I try to brush mine about 3 times a week.

I have a semi long hair. He loves being brushed, he has one in the morning before going out so he looks very smart. Then comes in has his sleep and has another one before bed. The ammount of fur the loose at this time of year is amazing, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I do brush her but not as often as I should. I'm going to make sure I do this more often and will get some of the gloves.

Are there any marks on the skin? Thinking ringworm or similar.
Is she pulling fur out or over grooming?

No marks on skin and she doesn't seem to be bothered at all or over grooming. She's eating/drinking well and seems absolutely fine in herself.

Im finding clumps of hair from my girl. She's just a moggy and doesn't haven't particularly long hair but she's very fluffy while her brother is much more sleek. I think its just this time of year and her moulting.
