Our eldest cat (14F) has an eye infection that has frankly been hard to treat. We have been treating it as an injury and infection on vet advice and we have been doing antibiotic drops/ointment for 4 times per day for almost 3 weeks but the eye still looks weepy/swollen.
Today we have also noticed a big patch of hair loss on chest and front leg. Have no clue whether self inflicted or a fight but she is very grumpy that she has been kept in for 10days.
Am wondering whether the 2 are linked for example would a parasite do this? Not sure what is best to do - but have vet appointment for Wed evening,
