11 month old cat missing. So worried

Our boy has gone AWOL. He did this once in January but was home 24 hours later. It’s now coming up to 48 hours and we’ve not seen him at all. The litter tray is outside and we’ve been shaking his dry food to try and tempt him home.

We’ve contacted the vets and posted on local FB groups but no luck yet. Could really do with a handhold, my autistic son is very attached to him and I’m so worried how he’ll react if our lovely kitten doesn’t come home to us 😭

I’m so pleased he’s home!

Mzy123 · 24/06/2021 20:13

Oh thank goodness, I have been so worried about him. To be honest they are usually pretty nearby. That's made my day. Do chase that bully cat away though . Take care, so happy for you 💓

Excellent news xx

ChuckNoWorriesMyWay · 24/06/2021 20:47

Yayy.

I may have something in my eye !!

ChuffingHeck · 24/06/2021 21:45

Thank you all, it has been such a relief. He’s been purring and cuddly tonight though that may be because of the tuna and ham tea he’s had. We’ve been trying to remind him he’s got it good here!

This morning I woke up unable to bring myself to go looking for him because I was so sure he was gone for good. Now I’m watching him snore on the sofa. I wouldn’t even say I was particularly a cat person but this boy definitely has my heart!

Naughty boy!!!! I hate it when they do this. Glad he is back with you x

ChuffingHeck · 30/06/2021 22:15

Thank you lovely people.

He still hasn’t been outside since his grand adventure but is sporting a GPS tracker on his collar now. It’s so big though so I’m not holding out much hope it’ll stay on for too long!

He turns one on Friday and my DC have made him presents and we’ve bought him some tuna and salmon in lieu of a birthday cake. We’ve decided he can go back outside at the weekend as he’ll officially be a year old and maybe a little wiser Wink

Reading this back I can see i have clearly become a crazy cat lady!

It’s easily done! Is the salmon skinless and boneless? 😃 Albacore Tuna?.
