Two Bengals

I am due to bring home two bengals next month (half siblings). I got two so they could keep each other company while I am at work. I have had a Bengal before so I know what I am getting myself into, before anyone warns me Grin

Will I experience any issues if they are the opposite sex however?

The girl will probably be boss. He’ll need castrating first in case they start playing drs & nurses with each other

Make sure you get them neutered ASAP.

That was my initial thought!

I also really hope you don't have neighbours who have cats as if you let yours out they are likely to completely terrorised the rest of the local mogs.

I know someone who bought two home four months Ava and they were already fixed from the breeder. He has a big garden and there’s a Bengal up the road. It’s been fine. He said the boy doesn’t give a toss and has no fear he takes his breath away just watching him. The girl is much more careful. They haven’t mastered the cat flap yet but they are out in the garden with them all day. The only real difference between them and all their previous cats is that they are noisy they tell you when they are going to the toilet they tell you when they want feeding and when they’ve finished!! They sleep in the kitchen and everything has been fine.

His only worry is when it comes to holidays as it will probably be a case of someone moving in,

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/06/2021 17:32

They tell you their coming through the kitchen, in the hall, up the stairs (the miaow wobbles as they run up), on the landing, by the side of the bed, on the bed @EachandEveryone.

I have an Arabian Mau. He is LOUD and my neighbour now hates me.

However my domestic short hair girl is the boss in the house.

Fluffycloudland77 don't forget when it's a bit too hot. This week has been testing 🙄🤣

Gorgeous! When we were looking for a second Bengal for our boy I think the breeders recommended we got a girl so shouldn’t be a problem.

We weren’t mad like you though and just stuck to the one 😉

Hope they settle in well!

SappysCurry · 15/06/2021 20:52

They look lovely!!
Here are my two - a brown spotted and a silver marble - both girls
They were litter mates, but with different parents from same breeder
They don't do this now!

cinders15 · 15/06/2021 21:28

It says no photos to add!

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/06/2021 21:51
