Cat stung by a bee

My cat Bobbi just went mental in the garden running around. I went to see why and I could see a Bee attached to her chest. She has gone to hide under the decking. Will she be OK? She won't come out.

My cats have all been stung by wasps or bees, one never learned and was stung about once a week one summer. The stings are usually on the paw, but a couple were on the chin when they put their face into something without knowing a bee was there. The swelling is impressive but they have all been fine.

It will probably swell up. I took mine to the vets when she got stung and they removed the sting. Can’t remember if they gave her an antihistamine too maybe

Thanks. She's emerged and has curled up under a Bush. I don't want to get close enough to examine in case I scare her off....she isn't a cuddly cat. She did let me pet her head and seems to be breathing OK.

Buns used to get stung at least once a year. One year she had a fantastic trout pout, put footballers wives to shame.
