Hi ,
I've taken my beloved 6 year old siamese cat to the vet twice as his inner eyelids have been showing for two weeks now. Hes had eye ointment (incase of conjunctivitis) and has deworming via broadline. The vet thought it was a virus which seems to fit as my other siamese also had his inner eyelids visible but these disappeared after only 3 days.
I am slighy anxious as the 6 year old has a history of lymphoma cancer, but was treated successully with chemo at 5 months old and has had no reoocurance so far. Vet thinks the lymphoma is unlikely as he is eating and drinking normally and hasn't lost any weight (also breathing fine which was the issue last time as he had tumours in his lungs). He seems a bit more lethargic but no other changes and aas physically checked over for lumps and temperature was normal.
Does anyone know what my next steps should be? He is an outdoor cat so no poo for me to inspect in the litter tray unfortunately. Do I ask for more tests and bloods to be done or will it resolve on its own?
Any advice very much appreciated.
Pic below is my precious boy.
