If you suspect your cat is being fed somewhere else

Or has a “second” home, what is it, do you think, that makes them come back home to you?

We have an 11 month old and she is fed twice a day, with an appropriate amount of food. But she is reeeeeaaaaallllly chubby. She’s neutered so not pregnant. Just fat. We live in a very quiet estate full of other cats and I’m tempted to post on our FB group to ask who might be feeding her Grin

This is obviously her home and she doesn’t stay out at night. Incredibly affectionate to all of us in the family. This is definitely her home. But I do just wonder sometimes if she’ll end up rehoming herself elsewhere.

It really pisses me off when people take it upon themselves to feed other people's animals. Some animals have allergies or intolerances and it's not the dosey neighbours having to clean up the dihorrhea or pay the vets bills.

I don't think she will regome herself but in the interests of weight management I would put one of the please don't feed me collars on her.
