My cat is sixteen. Have recently noticed a patch on his chin that doesn't look right at all. The vet said it seems suspicious and has run some bloods which are due back today. 20 months ago he had a lot of teeth out on one side of his mouth, because they'd all become loose. The vet yesterday said maybe something was going on under the surface then.
The vet said it feels lumpy and irregular and there's no pus, so it's solid. Apparently losing the hair on it isn't a good sign? But it's not attached to a bone, so that's potentially a good sign.....
I'm worried. Have a look at this. Anyone who has experience with this sort of thing, I'd like to know what you think
