After she had been coughing for four days we took her to the vet. Nothing in her throat. Behaving and eating normally. Prescribed metacam after a diagnosis of inflammation of the trachea. Been on meds for nine doses now. No significant improvement. I rang the vet today to ask what the plan was for checking on her. Was told ten days so she's going on Thursday. She's just been coughing again and dh thinks we should take her tomorrow as she's not going to get better between tomorrow and Thursday.
Can anyone offer any insight as to why she is still coughing after so many doses and if there is anything we can do to help her now?
Cat is nearly nine.
