Kitten food in tins?!

I’ve been buying pouches but realise that I’m throwing away so much plastic.
Can’t seem to find any kitten food in cans in the supermarkets and the only ones in my pet shop are the really expensive tiny tins.
Does anyone know of kitten food in tins which isn’t really expensive?
Thanks

Have a look at zooplus

I get Applaws tins from Amazon (other retailers are available) - they definitely do kitten tuna in tins. My cat eats less applaws than the pouches - I think it's better quality/more calories?

You can filter by packaging type and life stage on the Pets at Home website, and probably others too.

I used to get the Applaws tins like Sausagis but realised they aren’t a complete food and our wet food cat doesn’t reliably eat any of the dry food (the other one only eats dry - cats!). I also used to get the Bistro brand tins from PaH but she’s gone off it (cats!).

Thanks, I’ll take a look at these

The pouches can be recycled through Terracycle. Their website will show you the nearest collection point (they also take tetrapaks while many councils now don't) www.terracycle.com/en-GB/

I rinse out our pouches (use the dregs of the washing up water) and put them in our local tesco soft plastic collection bin. Am slowly trying to wean them back to more dried - we only went to pouches as we had a young kitten like you and a cat who had massive dental surgery.

Feringa from zooplus, reasonably priced, 70% meat and comes in three flavours.

My two baldies enjoy it. Their favorites are the turkey & chicken and rabbit varieties.

Forgot to add its grain free too.

Would your kitten entertain the idea of dry food?
