Microchipping cats to become mandatory

The Queen's Speech has included an intention to make microchipping cats mandatory - not sure whether this is for all of the UK just England.

More to the point - if all cats have to be microchipped, this gives a great excuse to euthanise those which aren't.

...do you mean that as they're already supposed to be chipped, Mr Gates has them in his power? If so could he please upgrade mine to include volume control.

It's already the law to have your dog microchipped.
