Cat stuck on very tall tree

Hi, I'm after some advice please. My cat is one and a half and we have recently started letting her out for short periods of time. Today she got stuck a very tall tree. At least 15 metres high!
My husband had to take a ladder and then climbed up half way as she was trying to make her way down to him. I tried warning him not to do it, that he'd likely be today's middle aged man ending up in A&E after falling off a ladder but you know what men are like.
Anyway my question is, do you think cat learned the lesson? She did look petrified. Or are we likely to have this drama again? The tree is in our garden. Photo of cat stuck on tree today attached!

My cat has had the odd "getting stuck at the top of the chimney right on top of the house" episode and when I think of it, there does seem to be an element of 'learning' as she doesn't make the same mistakes repeatedly.

Poor cat!. You can’t rule it out happening again though, their little danger magnets.

She hasn't done it since. Fingers crossed, looking back it was really reckless of my husband to venture out there

Ours did it in a neighbour's garden, we tried to get her down for 5 hours and eventually gave up. She appeared at the back door shortly after that

She's never been up it since though and it was a couple of years ago!

She'll be back up there, it's what cats do. Cats are arboreal. Mine spend more time up in the tress than they do in the house.

Will they learn ? Most definitely not

We've just had to try and put cat deterrent on one tree as we can't reduce the height due to nesting pigeons.... and we know Col and probably Dexter will be up after them
We've just left the ladder permanently on the tree which Col now utilises

I couldn’t cope with that! Luckily, my breed are known more as runners not climbers.

I’d like to think they do learn, but am guessing it’s individually-led. My boy, years ago, got “stuck” twice on log cabin roof at bottom of garden. He’s never been up there again!

We saw her got scared and try to climb up the tree again but luckily caught her in time. Nightmare!
