cat hair

We have a cat with very fine, very long and very dense hair. It mats. We cut out the mats as best we can but obviously not a beautiful look. We've tried combs of various sorts, they just don't go through her fur. Does anyone have a suggestion of a comb that might work?

We got a Catit long haired grooming kit and it's really good. There is a de-matting brush, a comb with 2 layers of teeth to get to the undercoat, some nail trimmers and a paddle brush.

We have to brush our Persian daily to make sure he doesn't matt and this is the best set i've found so far.
