Embarrassing neutered cat question.

This is a bit embarrassing. My rescued neutered cat has started humping me when I’m asleep. Blush

It’s waking me up, feels a bit awkward. Why has he started doing this. He has been with us for two years. He was about 10 months old when we had him and had been neutered by the CPL before we got him.

My DC tell me he “does a little wee” sometimes when he’s kneading the bed. They are too young to understand what he’s doing. But what is coming out of him if he’s been neutered??

He’s a lovely cat, but not affectionate. But since he’s learnt this new pastime he’s at it all the time. I’ve had male cats before, but never had this particular issue before.

Is there anything I can do to stop this.

My previous male was a big fatty who didn’t have any sexual tendencies.

Maybe my present cat has “small man syndrome”

As Veterinari has suggested I think some yucalm is worth a go. He does occasionally spray outside so perhaps he is stressed.

My neutered old man cat was a humper. Was behaviour that came and went (puns not intended). No signs of illness, it was his happy thing.

Sorry it’s not funny at all, especially if he has a UTI but this thread is making me smile.

My oldest male does this but only to me and only to one particular blanket. Vet promises they've neutered him and that its normal. I just shoo him away and over time he has done it less and less. We know the signs of when he is about to do it, so we move him before he starts.

I am relieved our boy only dribbles out of his mouth when he kneads Grin

I don’t mind if he uses a blanket. He uses a beanbag sometimes.

I don’t personally want to be involved-it’s non consensual. Also it wakes me up.

I've got a dribbler too my children find it horrific especially if he sneezes while he is dribbling and it goes everywhere 🤣
